This week's Escape Road' (the last page) in AutoWeek is
     about the TR-250!
Check it out!

     >>What ??? You mean it wasn't something like the Pacer
XT or '68 Vista Cruiser ?? Time was once long ago (when
AW was "big" & used the little man in the helmet), I
used to tear open an issue & go straight for Escape
Road, then to Satch (a moment of silence, please).
Lately however, it seems as if they've run out of
interesting or sporting feature cars & opted for the
more mundane. Good to hear they featured the TR !
Also noteworthy in this issue (I guess it is this
issue, as I found out through photocopies from a fellow
motorhead here at work), was the V8 Miata & the blurb
on the La Carrera Panamerica. The Pan-Am being the long
distance sister race to the La Carrera Classic. Which
reminds me, I owe you guys some copy !
Awhile back I posted an inquiry as to whether or
not you'd like to hear about the readying of Redcar for the
Classic & the finally running in it, & the response was
overwhelmingly pro-write-up. Since then our dept. has
moved to a new building so the majority of my "free"
time has been getting everything up to speed work wise,
but not as the dust has settled, I will write.
In fact, I think that that that would be a good
thing to start tomorrow, since I have to be in at work
on a Saturday it'd make being here a little easier. And
it'd be a little Christmas present to all of you when
you get back from the holidays.

So to all of my fellow enthusiasts, take care & be
thankful for what you have, & may God bless you all !

          Merry Christmas-
                          Daren Stone
