   There's more to this performance thing than just the raw horsepower numbers.
  There's the "nature of the power".   I have a new Nissan truck.  It's engine
puts out 134 horsepower.  Pretty fast, right?  Well,  decent power doesn't come
on line until you rev that baby way up.   My TR2, on the other hand, can spin
rubber without slipping the clutch much at all.  So I would have no qualms
about dragging a Miata at the light.
