Since we have a number of new folks on the list, here's another rehash of my
Triumph parts supplier listing. Feel free to send me comments, updates
or reviews of the various places.

mjb.

ps: Some fellow had trouble with getting the key to turn in the starter.
I myself never have that trouble, as I use the ignition switch! (Sorry,
    I couldn't resist)

The only reason this company is here is for the Grose-Jet stainless steel fuel

Fat Chance Garage and Brewery

Salt Lake City, UT 84102
801-364-3251 Motto: "Cars drive in... but they don't drive out"

Specializing in buying "yet another wreck" as the wife says and consuming mass
quantities of fermented barley beverages before, during and after (if ever)
restoration, such as it is, gets accomplished. A modest supply of used parts,
Triumph only, some new MGB and Triumph stuff available, Weber jets at a good
price, and plenty of free advice. Good advice extra.

[Oops. Old number, will update later]

Probably the most comprehensive stock of Triumph parts in the country,
reasonably good prices, the service was better when they were smaller.
Still good, though.

Triumphs Only
1281 Lick Ave.
San Jose, CA 95110
408-947-7766

TR3-6, some Spit, etc. Mostly a wrecking yard. I spent more time than
money here the summer I worked at IBM, since I had little money. Nice place.

Triumph Specialty
991 Berryessa Road
San Jose, CA 95133
408-286-3958

Not recommended, assuming a disgruntled customer hasn't torched the place yet.
Was on the BBB's "Watch Out" list when I was in town, [1984!] and is listed
here solely as a warning. New, used and some performance parts.

---------------------------
Triumph Tune
22-28 Manor Road
Richmond, Surrey
England TW9 1YB

A nice catalog of performance oriented parts for Triumphs. Recently purchsed
by Moss Motors, some of their stuff may become more widely available in the
states.

TR Sales,
Fort Worth Tx.

This is where I bought my 1st TR. They sell & service all kinds
of British cars. You can also mail order parts from them. Their prices
are very reasonable. (ie 164 dollars for a TR-6 carpet set.) I'm pretty
pleased with them.

Very British
(don't have address)
(518)-843-1358

Used british car parts. Very reasonable prices. Run by Dave Furiani who buys,
disassembles, stocks, prices, everything himself. Knows quite a bit about
British cars and is willing to give lots of helpful advice. Has parts for TR,
MG, Jag, Rover, TVR, Cortina, and others.

Victoria British
PO Box 14991
Lenexa, KS 66215
Orders: 800-255-0088

I've dealt with these folks on a few orders, prefer Moss of TRF. But where
else can you get a Turbo Whaletail spoiler for yuor Spitfire? These folks
also do business as Sunbeam Spares, and carry MG, Austin Healy and Datsun Z
parts.
