Did I read Jim Muller correctly ? He said that on his 1500 engine his
copmpression is 197-183-167-192.

I just finished rebuilding my 1500 engine, new pistons, rings, valves,
springs, camshaft etc etc. However upon checking the compression, I got
130-140 across all cylinders. I know I have not got the best compression
tester in the world, so these readings may be 10 lbs low.
As far as I know I am using the 9:1 pistons (not the California pistons).

So I am curious how Jim gets such high compression figures, are you using
non standard pistons ???
