It stopped raining late Saturday morning and by mid-afternoon the sun
had come out. So we decided we'd go to British Field Meet after all.

Well, one thing led to another and we are now considering going majorly
into debt and buying an Austin-Healey 3000 (believe it or not, but this
was _not_ my idea). I know that these cars are expensive.

And, as it always happens, the good looking car that I kept seeing on
the way to work everyday _was_ a 3000. It was in dismal enough
condition that I though we could maybe just afford it. So on Sunday we
added a little note to the collection already on the windshield in the
hopes of getting a call. Yesterday we noticed that the car had
moved and when we got home, the phone was ringing. And yes, it was
the guy who owned it (I still can't believe this part). He isn't planning
on selling it right now, but maybe at the end of the summer. He promised
he would let us know.

So before we get too caught up in this, can you all please send me
information on price, parts availability, etc. ?

Thank you very much,

Rod Barman
