Furthering the tales of unleaded, when the UK was getting geared up
to go unleaded fears were voiced of the UNlubricating qualities
of unleaded. One enviromentialist discounted this because the oil
companies in the states had found alternative additives to lead.

Now I don't know if the above is true. (Probably not) But it would
account for the reduced valve seat recession.

Anyway, would you notice recession without pulling the head?
