========

I contacted Terry and he agreed to drive up to northern Delaware and tow
my car to his shop. I did not want to put the miles on it.

When he arrived we talked for a long time about the car and what it
needed. Terry loves to talk and is a wealth of information on the
Bricklin.

A while later, Terry contacted me with his estimate. The estimate was
comprehensive and addressed pretty much everything cosmetic the car
needed. It was extremely high but detailed which enabled me to see
where the money was going. I deleted some things and we agreed on what
would be done and how much it would cost.

Essentially, I had both doors "rebuilt" with new skins, insides, window
parts, pneumatic latch pulls and door seals. I had the roof replaced.
I also had some work done on the air door system and the rear hatch
repaired. Finally, I had the driver's seat and pedals modified to make
me more comfortable as I am 6' 5" tall.

The work took far longer than quoted but I did not care. I didn't need
the car and I wanted everything done right. He could have kept it
longer than he did if needed. I never called to ask about progress or
pressure him in any way.

When Terry contacted me to tell me the car was done, he convinced me I
should drive the car home. I didn't want to but figured it would be
good for the car and a fun trip. I am a pilot and own an airplane so my
wife and I flew down to a small airport near Terry's shop. Terry picked
us up in his black Bricklin. My friend flew my plane back home.

On the way to the shop, Terry demonstrated his car's ability to do a
burn out. The engine knocked badly from overly advanced timing. I
considered saying something but Terry is so confident in his knowledge
and skills related to the Bricklin, I was afraid I would offend him so I
let it go.

When we arrived at the shop I got a tour. His helper, John, was still
working on my car. I thought it strange that my car was not done but
accepted the tour and then we went over all the things done to my car.
