I need your help to make our annual Miata gathering (dubbed "Miatapalooza
07") a success! I have a thread open on Miataforum but since most of the
folks who helped last year were autocrossers, I wanted to put the call out
here as well.

What: The annual West Coat Miata gathering, dubbed 'Miatapalooza 07'
Where: Monster Park
When: September 15th
Why: To celebrate these versatile machines!
There will be swap meets, tech talks, and other non-racing related
activities going on in the paddock. I'll be in charge of the autocross, as I
was last year. I'm looking for 15 total volunteers. BAMA (Bay Area Miata
Association) will reward you with some manner of freebies, I don't know what
yet but that's been worked out. I know Nationals is the following weekend so
timing is rather tight but hopefully I can have an excellent crew like last
year (Alan Gruner, Dave Theodore, Ed Rito, Edwin Suarez and many other) to
make the autocross portion flow. I'll also talk with Lockheed Sports Car
Club to rent their timing equipment unless I can do so from the SFR SCCA if
that's available.
Thanks in advance! Next year rumor has it we'll be at Laguna Seca... I bet
instructors who help both years will be given special perks ;)
