Those of us who live in a political world would like to see the supps changed to, "shall conform to the same sound standards as allowed on public roads". Avoid the word "noise" and any mention of a db level. Being able to say this in response to the nice old folks holding speaker cards at the back of a Planning Commission hearing is much easier for everyone to digest. It doesn't matter that the law is imprecise on this, it just "sounds" better. Tony |
