In 2000 SFR had 75* classes. 28 of them had more than one person running half
of the events. With 236 entrants per event, 153 ran half or more. 139 had
someone else doing the same in their class.
In 2004 SFR had 106* classes. 30 of them had more than one person running half
of the events. With 228 entrants per event, 134 ran half or more with 121
finding competition.

Looks to me like you all are compromising away both regional competition AND
developing National Champions.
How's the retention rate? Still only a few out of each rookie class?
