Another item for autocrossing tips:
Whenever possible, try to avoid making more than one change to the car at a
time. This can be tough to do, as it's easier to add all the suspension
"upgrades" at once, etc. But if you add a bunch at once and you don't go much
faster, you can't tell which items were a waste of money and which ones
actually have promise. And you'll do much better in the long run by knowing
what works and what doesn't, for instance in your next car, or helping a buddy
set up a new car. "When you don't get what you expected, what you get is
experience." :-)
