Hi All,
We have just made the agonizing decision to cancel out of the Marina
site for now.We have had to make the tough decision, here's the
situation for info that we are sending out to folks via post card, but
since I had your email addesses in my work address book I wanted to make
sure you knew that we
were not going to have an event.
Dear Friends,
The 2002 Monterey Bay NASAX Series at the Marina
Airfield has been canceled. There will be no event on Sat. Aug. 24
or Sun. Aug. 25th and all future NASAX events at the Marina Airfield
are canceled. We have found that we have been put in
an unpredictable position where we can no longer provide safe and
effectively run events in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
If another site becomes available that is user friendly and wants our
type of activity, we'll notify you. The 2002 points will be reviewed
over the next month or so and we will decide what to do about the season
points.
We know you are disappointed as are we, but hope you will understand
that we could no longer guarantee the quality of the events.
