Both sets of Hoosiers we used on the Camaro (one set used, one brand
new), were not flat spotted. They wore on the outside edge because of two
things:
1. We didn't realize we should have swapped them around inside/outside to
spread the wear
2. We couldn't legally get more than .7 degrees negative camber, thus the
wear on the outside edges.
Other than that, we never took the car beyond really stock; no shock
upgrades, swaybars, etc., which would have helped somewhat on tire wear.
Our experience in Stock drove us back to Prepared...no tire changing!
Tires last many, many events before the stick disappears, and the tires are
smaller and less expensive by about $200 a set.
