Crews Begin to Lay Asphalt on
New Sears Point Karting Center
SONOMA, Calif. - The realization of the Sears Point Karting Center took
another step forward as construction crews have begun laying asphalt for
the new surface.
The 16-turn, three-quarter mile circuit is expected to be complete by early
March and the Jim Russell Racing Drivers School, which will be the operator
of the Center, is expected to open the track to the public in March for
testing and karting school programs.
