The start of the race in Le Mans, with the clock
ticking down like a heartbeat deserves to played loud
enough to rattle your neighbors windows. Very "Pink
Floydian." Probably the best ever scene in Cinematic
history.

There's just nothing else even close. (OK, I like this
movie a little more than the average critic did)

The thing about Le Mans is that it always gets dinged
for having no plot. If you "get it" the *race* is the
plot. There is no need for dialog. And what about the
scene where the Ferrari/Porsche pit crews are watching
each other, waiting to see who changes to rain tires
first. Great dramatic stuff, Oscar worthy, IMHO.

Hopefully Driven 2, the sequel, will move onto F1 or
Le Mans.
