If you do attach belts to the rear passenger shelf, make sure that they
aren't above the height of your shoulders (or the top of the back of the
rear seat, whichever is higher). If so, they won't work properly.
Equally, if you attach them lower (to the rear seatbelt points?) make sure
the angle isn't greater than 60 degrees (depending on the belt manufacturers
recommendations). Otherwise you can compress your spine in a crash, which is
bad (tm).
