But beware, for those of you who have gotten used to running at Oakland and
GGF, there is an element you have to deal with up there.  It's a really
weird phenomenon.  The locals have a name for it; they call it "grip".

At first, it will feel really awkward.  The car will actually hook up and do
what you ask it to do instead of sliding.  It could actually be darn right
predictable.  You will start wondering, maybe there was nothing wrong with
your car's setup and you were banging your head against the wall for
nothing.

Soon you will recall that this was why you bought that expensive second set
of rims and R tires.  Now you remember...the "grip".
