Since I was in the trailer in run group #1 this past weekend I
have a few comments. First, the lack of card, replacement paper,
issue created significant delays IMHO in the quick running of the
event. This fact made it hard to sort initially and hard to maintain
while working that group. I felt we really held up the event, but
in actuality it might have only been 10 minute extra..sure did feel
like we were holding everyone up. Extra time also had to be done to
put everyone's number (if they had a sheet) on the upper right hand
corner of the page. As announcer (if you can call it that at GGF)
I was trying to help wherever I could...but probably didn't do much
due to the lack of a PA system.

I am also concerned about how we are gonna run GGF as the days
get shorter...with the current volume of people it will probably
get harder and harder...but it will be colder and colder..so, maybe,
less people will show up.

Lastly, the NorCal Audi club is co-chairing a NASA autox on October
22nd at Marina (kinda like what Ben did at Marina this past weekend).
We also know that John has scheduled a SCCA autox on the same
day at GGF. We hope that some of you decide that Marina really
isn't that far away, and that you might want to come visit us
down there this time. We think we will get about 150-200 Audis in
attendance, with at least 40-50 competing in the NASA autox.
Pls come watch a bunch of newcomers try to get their 4dr sedan's
around a course without embarassing themselves too much. We plan
to design a 75 second course. We also will have a number of
vendors on hand to talk about performance parts (list developing
as you read this).

Thanks.
