Perhaps because the SEB et al would be flooded with requests from 
other members that would take a long time to investigate and vote on.  
In an earlier email you mentioned how busy and complicated your 
personal life has gotten.  The volunteers who would have to spend hour 
upon hour wading through all those requests have lives outside of SCCA 
too.
