Bruce, thanks for setting Mr. Sipe straight. I wanted to talk about your
car, but figured that was your place to mention it. Yes, First and Third
places in SM2 open were ASP cars.  In fact, 4 of the 7 trophy winners in
SM2 were legitimate SM2 cars. Just remember, SM2 was just trotted out to
the masses effective 1/1/02. I know that Mr. Sipe thinks that all new
classes have to reach some "gold standard" of cars fully prepped to the
rules before the class is truly legitimate. But once again, this won't
happen at the national level until there are official national rules.
