Hi Matt. Midwest Council rules the immediate area with their autocrossing
program. Laid back, low pressure events, nice people, but different rules.
Serious Solo can be found in Milwaukee, about an hour away. Well worth the
trip as Miller Park is IMO one of the best sites anywhere, and many
nationally competitive drivers run there. High speed Solo1 type events are
also offered by Midwest Council at Blackhawk Farms. Fun. Ice racing and
ice autocrossing can also be found, although we try to limit those
activities to the winter months. Weather is way closer to VA's in Madison
than in Texas. (Too freakin' hot!) ((and snakes!))
