The car will be 100% purpose build.

Does anyone already race on of these cool Buggy's ???
If so would you mind sharing you experiences, pictures,
tip's, etc ???"

Uffe-

There was a guy in Las Vegas Region that ran such a creation. At least the
body had started out as a Manx type dune buggy. I'm working from memory
here, and I may not have ALL the details just right...

Seems he had re-designed the rear end of the chassis so that it was more
"Formula Vee" than dune buggy. The engine was ahead of axle. Had various
tricky suspension bits, again from FV technology, a race-prepped flat four
and a big ol' wing on the back.

The cockpit was mostly Manx, with a full cage and two racing seats. The
nose had been re-done and resembled a CanAm car more than a Manx. It was a
beast. Set FTD a few times.

The owners name was Dave Roberts. He's a helluva nice guy, was the RE for
Las Vegas for a while there. I don't have an email addy for him, but iffen
we're lucky he'll hear about this conversation and get in touch with you.

Hope this helps-
