I just looked up the bump chart (Page 220 of the 2002 rulebook) and note the
bump order in Stock is HS > GS > DS > ES > CS, etc.

(FS, being somewhat anomalous, goes straight to BS as in the past).

DS goes to ES? ES is the quicker class? What is the logic in that? Or is
that a rulebook misprint?

I see it was that way last year too. It's an issue for me because I need the
bump chart for my upcoming Mirror Khana. I guess I did not notice it last
year because I had full classes across that part of the chart and didn't
need to bump anyone there. Right now I have a singleton GS and expected to
bump him to ES, only to find out he goes to DS and *then* to ES.

Sheesh. If ES is faster than DS, and they just realigned the whole stock
class structure this year, why then did they not flip the DS/ES classes so
that DS would be the faster of the two?

Or, if it is a rulebook misprint that maybe no one noticed before (never
mind it's a new chart because of the ST additions), then I need to know that
before I get to my event. In any event, I'd like some confirmation this
apparent oddity is or is not correct.

BTW, if SM bumps to ASP, then where would SM2 bump to? (SM2 is not on the
chart).
