We (San Diego region) set the generator about 60-75 feet from the
trailer and use a plywood enclosure around it that is hinged and folds into
a flat "panel" assembly that has handles in it for ease of carry. It takes
all
of 10 seconds to erect and you don't even know the generator is there
unless you walk right up to it. Sound dissipates quickly in the open air.
