Hey, guys!

I think the answer is very simply this:  An eccentric is an eccentric
and will do whatever he/she can afford to do (and, sometimes, more) to
achieve a goal.  How many of us who autocross LBCs (Little British Cars)
go out and spend far more than we should just to get the necessary parts
to keep them running or make them run faster?  If this guy wants to
spend mega-bucks to build a working scale model of a Ferrari, who's to
say that he's wrong for doing so?!?!?  8<{)  Whether you agree with the
amount of time and money he's spent on it or not, you've got to respect
his inventive engineering skills!!!  He may not have a life, but he sure
has an active MIND.
