What kind of Arbitrary number is 1400? The West is more sprawling and as
such the population centers are not as dense. This analysis clearly favors
the East!!

What are the numbers for all regions?

Just to toss some fuel on the fire of where to hold nationals, here are
the region size for the jumbo regions (those over 1400 members)

Atlanta 1811
Cal Club 2336
Central FL 2626
Chicago 2049
Detroit 2035
Florida 1667
Houston 1459
New England 3242
SF 4718
Wash DC 2306

Looking at large and jumbo regions, the east coast has 16,000 members and
the west coast has 10,300.

Does anyone know how the headquarters ended up in Denver in the first
place?
