Ha ha !
Leave it to the inventive Mr. Osborne to figure in the
air pumping cylinders... as if his total wasn't enviable
enough already! ;-)

Looks like 46 currently, and if you count those air compressors,
add 3. Oh, I also have a few vacuum pumps, so add another 3
for those; but in fairness, I think if some fuel can't be detonated
inside of it, a cylinder shouldn't be counted here.....?
Interesting that I don't currently own an 8. Hmmm... what has this
world come to?
Lifetime, IIRC
6 - Corvair Van
6 - Corvair Van #2
6 - '68 Corvair 500
8 - '78 Pontiac LeMans
8 - '72 Ford Elite? *
8 - '69 SS396 Chevelle (my HP zenith)

Those add 104, so lifetime internal combustion cylinders I think
hits a nifty 150?
* I think that is what it was called. It was a HUGE car with one of
the longest hoods ever. I bought it for $50, got it running for another $15,
and intended to use it in a demolition derby, but that never happened.
Sold it for $120 a year later.... The buyer also took the Corvair Van #2,
which had been a cheap acquisition I never had time for.
** The Rabbit was a car I tried to love but ended up hating with a passion.
Ultimately it was the electrical problems related to a water leak that
managed to drip right onto the fuse panel that killed the car for me. Jerk
that
sold it to me told me it had an exhaust leak... Actually it had a shot motor
and the odometer had been rolled back 100K! I was so pissed that a
friend and I took the old motor and dumped it in the guy's front yard one
night...
*** Ok, the Phoenix I really didn't own, it was a company lease vehicle that
I got stuck driving for a year. Took it to the first Autocross I ran with the
NWOR, though, and won the Novice class, so I have to count it!
Man, nearly every one of those cars has a story that I could attach...
