IMHO, you've BEEN "getting by." You deserve now to get ahead a bit. Budget
to replace and upgrade is a necessity, not a luxury. At a flat $15, or
$15/20, you are still not ahead of the curve, just catching up to it a bit.
Whether to raise should not really be a question, the form and pattern of
that raise is the only real debate point it seems to me.
