Hi Howard,
I believe that STS (and eventually STR and STU) should be a national
class. I have noticed an explosion of interest in it. Every region you
go to has a significant following of STS drivers. The new Street
Touring eGroup (www.egroups.com) has almost 200 members now. Some very
respected people too. Plus, ST has commercial appeal that no other
class has for the aftermarket sport compact guys.....which is the
fastest growning segment of the general aftermarket accessories
industry.
I firmly believe STS should be a national class, and I believe you will
see increasing #'s at national competitions and increased membership at
the local level as a result.
