With everyone complaining about shock availability for the 99's, there is a
company called Shocktek (advertises in sportscar no less) that specializes
in bilsteins, and can and will revalve and convert you bilstein into a top
adjustable (koni style) unit - with the adjustment affecting both bump and
rebound. All for about the cost of a koni revalve/conversion.
Very knowledgable folks, and have worked on some of the speedvision cup
miata's.
I don't have their phone number handy, but they have been in several recent
SportsCar classifieds.
