Since I started out in Autox in a C-Mod car having someone ride with me is
not an option. So when I first got the car I started working on using an
onboard camera.
This has worked very well. The picture quality is not perfect but you can
play back
your runs and see what you did that was stupid. Believe me I have done it all
in
my first two years. Its great I can show the tape to others in my class(Who
wack
me every week) and they give me tips on what I should try to do. I think
having
someone watch you or ride with you is a great idea. But I don't think most on
Team
.Net really realize what the in car camera can do for you. It gives something
to
watch over and over. You start to notice little things happening that you
wouldn't
normally see while driving a course at speed. The other thing thats fun about
it is
when its cold as hell and your 3 months from the start of the season, You can
call
up a couple buddies get a 12 pack and watch how bad you sucked last year.
What a deal, Right!!!!!!!

I think I still have photos of how to construct the camera box on my website
