Actually, the size of the tires might have made up for that fact that
they were only P-Zeros. I think the rears looked like they were 2 feet
across each. Time was limited more by driver than anything. When we
could accelerate, it was instant on, pin you back in the seat, and damn,
I wish we had a longer straight.

The bigger problem was that the car was set up to handle at 100mph and
understeered pretty much at every turn. The cool thing is that where as
I was in 3rd gear in my MR-2, he kept the car in 1st gear the whole
course. I think he said it goes to 80mph in 1st. 8)

As a reference point, I did 91 seconds, the Diablo went from 134 seconds
down to around 100 seconds. It is also pretty wide, so it was more
difficult to get thru the boxes and chicanes.

But it sure looked nice...  8)
