[I suspect Gary meant this to go to the entire list, not just to me,
since I did not ask the original question. For the record, I use the
Hoosier 20x7x13 & 22.5x7.5x13 R25A tires. I was also yanking Pat's chain. :)]

I run the GY 20x6" and it has several advantages and disadvantages:

Likes:
        Instant transient response.
Extreme precision and low slip angles.
Matches GY 22.5 x 7.5" FF rear tire well.
Stiff tire forces suspension to work. This allows chassis changes
to be significant and measurable.
Car does not bounce on tires.
Best used on concrete.....very sticky concrete.

Dislikes:
Quality problems create variances in tire circumferences and contact
patch consistency.
Extremely sensitive to camber setting and tire loading...i.e. It is
very difficult to find the correct set-up.
GY tires are not the best in cold weather and on asphalt.

The GY 6.5" and 7.0" tires are of a completely different construction and
act nothing like the 6.0" tire. They do not have the instant transient
response or precision of the 6.0" and they do not match the 7.5" FF rear
tire in a solo/autox application.

If you can get your car to work on Hoosiers (and keep it from bouncing on
the rear tires), it may be your better option. Use the Hoosier 7.0" front.

}Am I to assume that the skinny advice refers to getting GY instead of
}Hoosier? This list has been too quiet....let's hear from everyone. What
}does the list think about skinny Goodyears versus fatter Hoosiers?

I was thinking 20x6x13 on all 4 corners, GY or Hoosier, doesn't matter.
Our tires really never get up to the proper working temps so I suggest
you try the hot, skinny tires instead of cool, wide tires.

}
}(Unless this is another useless ploy by Eric to keep me down....we shall
}see!) ;)

useless? if just *one* person tries it, it ain't useless! :)
