FOR medical reasons I Have lost strength and co-ordination on my left
side as a result I need to eliminate the ford top loader 4 speed and
clutch on my Tiger rebuild.
My option of course is to install an automatic transmission. I look for
advice and tips from someone who has done this before.
What model of Ford transmission should I look for, will it fit without
making any alterations to the transmission tunnel or firewall? What
about the shift indicator?
Has somebody used a console from a Mustang? or similiar? I am not
building a "screamer" powerplant is a stock Ford 260 and has a stock
Tiger rear end. I know it is a shame, but the manual has to go.
