Hi Guido,

You might be in luck as Peter Shimmel (owner of Mercian Manuals in England 
www.mercianmanuals.co.uk) just sent me photocopies of two Service 
Supplements for the Laycock De Normanville O/D "D" type units which I 
believe were fitted to our Alpines. For the Sunbeam Alpine Special they 
list the original solenoid number as No. 76505A.
