I went through the same process, replacing coil, points, condensor, Distibutor and cap. As a last ditch, I replaced the voltage controller, as I suspected it was putting out too high a voltage. This solved the problem right off. It appeared it was running way too high, which was breaking down the coil etc. Julian. |
