Hi All,

I know this option has been visited before however this may be of interest. I
was talking to a member of our local club who told me there was an engineering
firm in Sydney Aus that used to make kits for fitting toyota celica 5 speeds
to sunbeams. I spoke with the owner of the company (Geoff Dellow) today who
said they used to make them upto 5-7 years ago and then the interest pettered
out. He still has all the tooling and as a matter of fact they now make a lot
of conversion kits for Jag owners to fit Supra boxes to V12 Jags. He has had
other interest in making new kits for Sunbeams from local Aus clubs and
expects to have the tooling ready for manifacture in about 1 month.

The kits include everthing you need (except the yoke for the tailshaft, that
is extra) including new bellhousing, clutch and throwout bearing yoke, box
mounting plates and speedo adapters. He also said he needs to know what toyota
box is being fitted as he machines the housing for 2T, 3T, steel case and
Supra boxes (Supra is an ovekill on a Sunbeam).

The best part is the pricing. A full kit for the Toyota Sunbeam conversion is
AUS$625 thats around US$314. If anyone is interested, let me know and I will
get the companies full address and contact details.

Regards,
Steve Graham
Brisbane AUS
