series 1 overdrive

I Have come across a series 1 car in a salvage yard and would like to save
it from its demise due to it having an overdrive on it. its vin # is
B9004680. My question is this.   Will the overdrive unit from this series 1
work on my series V.?  If I can use this for my gain I will Part the rest of
the car out or sell it as a whole.
