Here's a few links that might help you out:
This is the Mad Electric site that Dan recommended to me years ago

This is the VTR section that Dan wrote relative to the conversion
http://tinyurl.com/norcel and gives both 1 wire and 3 wire instructions.

The only problem you might have is that none of these talk about a 105 amp
unit.

I have Dan's wire harness which comes set up for the Delco alternator so I
can't check my connections for you to compare.
