Adam,
Have you tried simply striking at the undercating at a shallow angle
with a stiff paint scraper, flat kind, or a large tipped flat head screwdriver?
I took me 15 to 20 minutes to clean each wheel well this way, as well as all
the other undercoated surfaces. I then went back with a cloth soaked in paint
thinnner to clean up any left over. I was amazed how easy it will pop off the
painted metal surface, some painted primer and some painted body color.
