Newbie Questions

Hi All,

I am looking to acquire a TR6. No, I have never owned a British sports car,
but I have helped a friend with his GT6. I am also into pain. ;-)

I have 2 questions:

1.) What sort of condition should I expect for say $6000?  How about
$10,000?
2.) What should a 4 speed transmission rebuild cost? (1st, 2nd & 3rd gear
don't sound so good.)
