I sent a note to the Plasti Dip people asking about use of their product in
gasoline. Here is their reply.

Bill McLeod has very kindly sent me a float. So hopefully, I won't need to
fix my original.

Hugh,

Thank you for your e-mail.

Plasti Dip will not hold up to any petroleum based products. However we do
have another product that will, it is called HCF (Hard Coat Finish) and is
available in 1-1 gallon containers and larger.

Please open attachment for the Technical Data Sheet on this product.

If you need any additional assistance, please let me know.

Best regards,
Judy Bibeau
