Bob----The rear wheel bearings are not repackable, for all practical
purposes. They should last a hundred thousand miles or more before you
have to go here. The units are then tough to rebuild, and most just do
an exchange on these.

The "clicking" you hear is most likely a U-joint, which are replaceable
and not too big of a job. Note there are four of these on the axle
shafts, and two on the prop shaft.  I'd recommend a service manual (like
the Robert Bentley) for the first time around on this job, if you don't
already have one.
