I just measured my cap (which I believe is original) and get 3/4". I doubt it compresses the spring very much when on there so the neck and the cap measurements are about the same. Mine doesn't overh

Could I get a run down of those item? Also, I will be moving to Colorado Springs the end of June. Does anyone know if there are any mechanics that specialize in LBC's in the Springs? thanks, Joe 59 T

John, the cap is slightly longer than 3/4" when not compressed, but only slightly. There is a stop that keeps the spring from expanding fully. The 3/4" is the radiator measurement. Randall

I just had my 60-TR3 radiator re-cored (more tubes & fins, & no crank hole) & based on the advice from the list I had the radiator shop put a modern neck on it for allow for operation of an overflow
