Take a look at the little washers on the drivers side latch versus the passenger side(on the top frame). I know of a person that was missing these washers & the top would NOT latch properly...very l

For the visor, you will need to bend the visor arm up slightly such that the tip is at the same height as the rubber holder. Mine used to do this all the time until I bent the arm slightly upwards.
