Folks in the Mercedes club swear by Pertronic ignition for their 50's and 60's models. It looks like stock from the outside but works better, especially with the Bosch mechanical fuel injected engine

A Pertronix ignition system can be adapted to almost any car but you'll most likely have to make a new plate for your distributor.....unless you are running the Bosch replacement, then they might hav
