Alan, I haven't installed one, but I believe that there is a vertical door on the heater box just before it dumps to the AC box. The new fan goes in that door. Don't know about where it gets it's pow

Jamie- Thanks for the info. I might give you a call later this week with some questions. The way the aux fan is installed (in the heater door), it sounds like it only boosts the output of the heater

I have installed the aux fan too! It basically acts as a supercharger, forcing more air into the system. It feeds both the a/c and the heater. The results are fantastic. I highly recommend it as well
