Hi Keith This is real sound advice from Joe but I would like to add that you should give it another retorque at around 500-1000 Miles as you will get a good move then as well, then your gasket is set

I always used two light coats allowed to dry and then a fairly heavy coat on the gasket right as it went in. It works for me, Jack Brooks Hillsdale, NJ 1960 TR3A TS69032LO 1974 Norton 850 Commando R
