I'm having difficulty getting my extractors to fit properly and not leak. It was suggested that I replace my single gasket with a thicker one made of two gaskets that have coppercoat in between them

Check the surface of the header (Extractor) flange with a straightedge. If it is warped excessively you will get a leak. Some headers have a weld bead around the seal side of the tubes and may cause

You may have a problem with the amount of pressure that the manifold nuts put on the header. Compare the thickness of the header and intake manifold at the locations where a single washer holds both

Many headers (even new) do not have a good, flat, mounting flange surface. Best idea is to take your header to a machine shop, have them check the mounting flange surface and surface it if necessary
