Went to Harbor Freight today to pick up one of their on-sale 40x48" trailers for use as a tire trailer but was talked out of it by the salesperson when I mentioned that I wanted to tow long distances

Which Harbor Freight trailer were you looking at? Was it the one with the little (8" or something) wheels or the one with the 12" wheels? I've been using the latter, which I think I paid about $200 f

I have an older model of the 40x48 with the 8" wheels, and, while I haven't used it for autox in 10 years (the hitch for the RX-7 costs more than the trailer did), I did use it for years on the Celi
